Generic pre-purchase inspections rarely cover high-voltage systems, battery health, log data, or Roadster-specific failure modes. Why a specialized Roadster PPI matters
EV vs. ICE — Traditional PPIs are built around internal combustion cars and often ignore battery health, high-voltage safety, log file data, and software history.
Limited factory options — Tesla Service Centers are highly qualified but do not currently offer dedicated Roadster pre-purchase inspections.
Few qualified independents — Very few shops combine body/paint, mechanical, and advanced electronics/logfile expertise on Tesla Roadsters.

Our inspection process
Underbody & structural (on the lift) — Frame and chassis condition, evidence of collision damage, suspension components, drive train, high-voltage battery connections, tires, brakes, steering and suspension clues, and visible fluid leaks.
Body, exterior & interior function — Panel gaps and alignment, signs of repaint or panel replacement, window regulator operation, door and trunk function, AC/HVAC behavior, and key interior systems that affect usability.
Road test — Evaluates braking performance, steering feel, straight-line tracking, suspension noise, and overall handling/alignment behavior under real-world conditions.
Electronic & battery analysis — Our proprietary service laptops are connected to the Roadster’s VMS ports to view CAN activity, assess battery and drive train behavior, and check for active or stored faults.
Log file parsing & history — Using in-house log parsing tools, we review historical data to identify past fault patterns, thermal events, and pending issues that may not yet be visible on the VDS.
Expert interpretation — You receive a clear explanation of findings and what they mean for future maintenance, repair costs, and long-term ownership.
