Tesla Roadster — Carbon Fiber Door Sills (Satin or Gloss)

The lower entry sills on the Tesla Roadster take daily abuse. Tesla once offered carbon-fiber sills as an upgrade over Naugahyde/Leather trims, but those originals are no longer in production. Our Carbon Fiber Door Sills are built as
one-for-one replacements to the OEM carbon parts and arrive ready to install with factory-style hook-and-loop fastening—choose a deep Gloss or understated Satin clear finish.

• Maximum properties — Hand layups are typically resin-rich (~50%) and brittle; prepreg targets ~35% resin for superior strength and durability.
• Uniform & repeatable — Controlled heat/pressure cure minimizes voids; thickness and weave alignment are consistent piece-to-piece.
• Cleaner process — Autoclave curing avoids excess resin, drips, and print-through common to wet-lay/vac-bag methods.
• Show-grade cosmetics — Low-porosity surface yields a crisp carbon weave under Gloss or Satin UV-stable clear.

Install & Care

• Remove existing sills and old adhesive/Velcro; clean substrate with isopropyl alcohol and let dry.
• Apply supplied hook-and-loop strips per template, dry-fit sills, then press firmly for full bond.
• Avoid water for 24 hours; clean with pH-neutral soap and soft microfiber—no harsh solvents.
