original-style sensors used on 2.x Roadsters (VIN 501 and up), supplied brand new in factory packaging.
Overview
- One TPMS sensor mounts inside each wheel and wirelessly reports tire pressure to the car.
- When a sensor fails, the Roadster displays “TPMS Error” messages on the VDS.
- Each sensor contains a sealed, non-replaceable battery with typical service life of up to ~5 years.
- This listing is a set of four (4) sensors for a complete vehicle refresh.

Installation & Setup
- Professional installation recommended during tire mount/balance.
- Programming required: Unlike 1.5 sensors (self-learning), 2.x sensors must be programmed to the car after installation. Tesla Service Centers, Gruber Motor Company, or qualified tire shops can perform this.
- Replace valve-stem seals if needed to ensure an airtight fit.
Notes
- Batteries are sealed; sensor replacement is the only service option when they age out.
- Refreshing all four at once reduces repeat labor and downtime as the others approach end-of-life.
- Programming reminder: 2.x requires programming; 1.5 did not.
