Email A BidIt has been a long time since we have seen an ESS Main Battery this healthy, with a CAC just a few clicks off new back in the day. What is even more astonishing is the charge to 188 miles in standard mode (80%).
The Roadsters overall condition clearly indicates a pampered environment, and caring owner, with a low 8400 miles on the odometer. It has been stored in a temperature controlled environment all its life, and it shows.
This owner spared no expense bringing the PEM up to full GMC rebuild status, resolving all engineering problems, and replacing all wear components. All TPMS sensors were replaced, PEM Cooling Fan replaced, HVAC controller weatherproofed, gas shocks replaced, trunk latch solenoid replaced, and an annual preventive maintenance. All 20 wheel lugnuts were replaced, and the notoriously unreliable locking lugnut key was retired.
The two lower carbon fiber hood vanes are exhibiting a bit of clouding, and the carbon fiber lower front lip has a bit of delaminating PPF, (see images). The rest of the Roadster is nearly perfect.

After driving this incredible car in summer 2015, it took me less than 5 weeks, to buy and import it from Norway.
Originally this Roadster has been delivered to France in 2011, but then sent back to the US and changed in the way it is today (double-din alpine, enhanced sound, rear camera).
It was returned to Norway and finally sold in 2014 to a Tesla employee.This makes it one of the last , yet early VIN registered Roadsters sold.
As it had been under warranty until May 2021, all parts that looked worn or somewhere near the replace-tolerances have been changed by Tesla, and include:

This is a one-owner roadster, VIN 244, and is in excellent condition, stored in a climate controlled garage all its life, and the charge cable always left plugged in.
It was the first one delivered in NC (according to the PlyCar driver).
It has been featured at numerous EV shows sponsored by the Triad Electric Vehicle Assn. (www.tevanc.org ).
The battery was replaced in 2014 due to an “internal processor failure.”
Battery is now in great shape, with a CAC of 154.26Ah, which is a near new level.
The ideal range with a standard charge is 191 miles, and a test charge in range mode reported 241 miles.
The headlights have been upgraded with factory HIDs, and Tesla extra sound installation installed.
Added is a backup camera and upgraded the antenna on the HDD AV system.
The body is very clean. There is a bit of curb rash on the right rear wheel.
Included is the Tesla 30A Mobile Charger, a Roadster Foundry (Martin Eberhard) 40A mobile charger with 4 NEMA adapter plugs, and a J1772 adapter cable.
