This Front Axle Shaft Kit includes two complete CV axle shaft assemblies for the front left (driver) and front right (passenger) sides of the 2012–2016 Tesla Model S (electric only). Tesla supplies the front half shafts under separate OEM part numbers 1030615-00-B (left) and 1030616-00-B (right), each priced individually. This kit combines both into a matched pair sold together, so you can replace both sides at once.
If your Model S exhibits clicking, popping, or shuddering during turns or acceleration, especially from the front end, worn CV joints are a common cause. For best results and even driveline behavior, front axles should be replaced as a set. This kit is designed and priced with that in mind—both axles are included and are intended to be installed together.

When installing new front CV axles, make sure the inboard joints are fully seated and the retaining clips engage correctly. Clean and inspect all sealing surfaces, torque the axle nuts and suspension fasteners to Tesla specifications, and verify there is no binding at full steering lock or suspension travel. For best ride quality and even wear, always replace front axles in pairs as supplied in this kit.
