This drive unit output axle shaft seal (44ร67) is an OE-style replacement for Tesla applications using the 1065932-00-A seal. It is commonly found on earlier Model S/X half-shaft designs and front drive unit assemblies on Model 3/Y, where it keeps the drive unit oil in and road contamination out at the axle/output interface.

Recommended any time a half-shaft is removed from the drive unit or there is visible oil at the axle exit. Ideal for routine driveline service, collision repair, and noise/leak diagnosis work on affected Model S, X, 3, and Y vehicles.
Clean the bore and axle shaft thoroughly, check for grooves or corrosion, and apply a light film of clean oil to the seal lip and shaft. Use a proper seal driver to press the seal in straight and evenly until it is fully seated in the
drive unit casting. Avoid hammering directly on the seal to prevent distortion.
