This OEM-spec front cooling radiator (Tesla PN 1077082-00-C) is the primary heat exchanger for the low-temperature coolant loop in the Tesla Model 3. Located at the front of the car behind the bumper, it sheds heat from the coolant that circulates through the battery pack, drive unit, and power electronics. A damaged or leaking radiator can cause thermal-system warnings, reduced performance, or derated fast-charging.
| Technical Specifications & Fitment | |
|---|---|
| Tesla OEM PN | 1077082-00-C (also referenced as 107708200C; aftermarket cross-reference DPI 13900). |
| Vehicle fitment | Tesla Model 3 2017โ2021, front main cooling radiator (pre-heat-pump low-temperature loop). For later model years, verify by VIN or contact us for confirmation. |
| Construction | Aluminum tube-and-fin core with molded plastic end tanks; 1-row, cross-flow design for efficient heat rejection and low weight. |
| Approx. core size | ~670ย mm wide ร 190ย mm tall ร 16ย mm thick (about 26.4″ ร 7.5″ ร 0.63″). Dimensions may vary slightly by manufacturer. |
| Inlet / outlet size | ~24ย mm (~0.94″) hose connections, compatible with factory Model 3 low-temp coolant hoses. |
| Location | Front of vehicle, mounted behind the bumper cover as part of the front cooling module, ahead of the low-temperature coolant loop and A/C condenser assembly. |
| Included | Radiator assembly (core and tanks) only. Does not include mounting brackets, active grille shutter, fans, hoses, or sensors unless otherwise specified in options. |
| Installation notes | Requires draining the low-temperature coolant loop, removal of the front under-trays and bumper cover, and careful transfer or alignment with adjacent condensers and shutters. A vacuum-fill / bleed of the coolant system is strongly recommended. |
Radiator replacement on a Model 3 is more involved than on a typical ICE vehicle. The front fascia and aero shields must be removed, the car should be placed in Service Mode, and the coolant loop vacuum-filled to avoid trapped air. For best results, have this work performed by a Tesla-experienced
EV shop such as Gruber Motors or a technician familiar with Model 3 thermal systems.
Maintenance tip: Whenever you replace the front radiator, inspect the active grille shutter, lower air deflectors, and rock shields.ย Adding or repairing stone-guards in front of the cooling pack and using only Tesla-approved coolant mixed with deionized or distilled water helps maximize radiator life.
