This is the most used Roadster charging method and one of the least reliable over time. The GFI plug fails after 7-10 years, and the main power cord is only 12 gauge and 12′ long. We rebuild this important cable with 10 gauge wire and a 25′ length eliminating any need for extension cords, and replacing the failure prone GFI plug with a molded plug.
