Purchased Directly from Tesla Japan in 2012, this Artic White LHD roadster was owned by a large technology and innovation corporation in Yokohama Japan. Our best guess is it was on display and occasionally driven (160 miles average per year) to impress prospective clients and it would be nice to think (and feasible) that this roadster was in a Grand Foyer of the company’s head office on charge for all to see but not touch, what a sight that would have been. We believe the car was more than likely left unplugged during the covid times in summer 2022, perhaps unknowingly by someone as it was moved to a new destination.  The Result was a battery that was left to run low and eventually reach a bricked state. VIN 1002 was purchased at auction as a non-running vehicle and shipped by the current seller privately to the United Kingdom for review and battery recovery. The ESS pack we discovered had a very healthy 152.50 CAC and the battery was recovered with assistance from some of Europe’s leading Tesla Roadster service engineers – notably Neil wise (Wise EV) and Conrad Buck (Mars Orbiter Germany). The assistance from Pete and the team at Gruber Motors has also been instrumental in restoring this glorious example of the Artic white LHD roadster to its rightful glory. The mileage has been confirmed at 1605 at time of bricking however this is now standing at 1695 due to some 90 miles of testing, charging and discharging the pack to test for optimal operation. The condition of this roadster is exactly as one would expect for a car of such low miles.  Its likely to have only been dry indoor stored and left on charge as well as never being driven In wet or cold conditions. Location is in the United Kingdom and the car can be professionally prepared for delivery anywhere in the world at cost. VIN 1002 has NOT been titled in the UK and there is only 1 owner in Japan. All documents are present for the registration of the roadster and this car be done in the UK to obtain United Kingdom registration if required or it can be left totally unregistered. Shipping worldwide would be by container, Europe would be via covered trailer transport.
