Based on the log files, the review found no immediate concerns and noted that the car appeared to have been consistently charged to no more than 85%. The owner has always maintained the Roadster carefully, storing it in a closed garage between approximately 10°C and 20°C. This careful storage and charging behavior supports the car’s continued battery health and preservation.

Upgrades, Equipment & Service Notes

In 2010, the owner installed a hand- or foot-operated buzzer to warn pedestrians and cyclists. The system can also be connected in reverse to produce a beep-beep-beep warning. At the end of 2019, the original Blaupunkt Rome Europe NAV56E radio was replaced with a Pioneer AVH-Z7200DAB receiver featuring a retractable 7-inch screen, improved sound, and rear camera connectivity. The original Blaupunkt radio is available to the next owner if desired. In 2020, the motor-fan that cools the PEM was replaced. Because the connector linking this unit to the PEM was blackened, Tesla performed a standard PEM exchange. The car also includes an outlet in the rear trunk where an inverter can be connected for domestic appliances when the starter switch is turned on.

Roadster #0168 is the first Signature 250 Sport Roadster to be delivered in Belgium. It is also the first Roadster to arrive in Belgium in Glacier Blue. It arrived at my home by truck on January 27, 2010, at a time when Tesla had no facilities on the European continent. The first inspections were carried out at my place by Tesla Rangers who came from Hethel, UK with a workshop van. This Roadster is the most exciting car I have ever driven. I am still the first owner and, due to my severe vision problems, I have decided not to drive anymore. This explains why I was using it less and less. I have always maintained the car with the utmost care, and it has always been parked in a closed garage between 10°C and 20°C. Already in 2010, I installed a buzzer operated by hand or foot to warn pedestrians and cyclists, which can also be connected in reverse. At the end of 2019, I replaced the original Blaupunkt Rome Europe NAV56E car radio with a Pioneer AVH-Z7200DAB receiver with retractable 7-inch screen to have a bigger screen, better sound, and a connection with a rear camera. I can give the Blaupunkt to anyone who wants it.
