The Tesla ClipperCreek TS-70 wall charger is more than a charging accessory—it is part of the original Tesla Roadster ownership experience. Developed specifically for the Roadster, this Tesla-branded unit represents the equipment that helped introduce owners to a new era of electric motoring.
With a properly configured electrical installation, the TS-70 delivers up to 70 amps at 240 volts, allowing a Roadster equipped with its original battery pack to charge from depleted to full in Standard mode in approximately four hours. Actual charging time varies with battery condition, temperature,and charge settings.
As original Tesla Roadsters gain recognition as collectible automobiles, authentic, period-correct accessories can become an increasingly meaningful part of a complete collection. Much like original tools, manuals, and fitted luggage accompanying other classic cars, the correct Tesla wall charger helps preserve the story of how these pioneering vehicles were originally owned and enjoyed.
I purchased a 2010 Tesla Roadster with fewer than 2,000 miles this past summer, and it came with this pristine Tesla ClipperCreek wall charger.
I currently use my Tesla Model Y charger, so I do not need the ClipperCreek charger.
The charger is currently in South Florida and is available for inspection or pickup. The price includes shipping anywhere in the continental United States.
