Welcome to our beloved and rare Roadster Sport 2.5 Fusion Red. We purchased this Roadster in October 2024 through Bring a Trailer from Alton Burkhalter, and from the moment we saw the listing, it immediately felt like a full-circle moment.
Back in 2011, we owned one of the early Tesla Roadster Sports—VIN 502. That car left a lasting impression on me, not just as a driver’s car, but as a piece of history at the very beginning of Tesla’s journey. We eventually parted with it, as it was acquired by a museum, which made it all the more meaningful. Ever since, I had been quietly looking for the right opportunity to reconnect with that experience. When this car came up, it struck us how closely it resembled our original Roadster in both spirit and configuration.
