Vehicle Specifics

Each Roadster has a story. This one is also unique:
Hi, This is a Stanford Vehicle that we are selling this summer.

Here’s the link for the Tesla post on GovDeals:
https://www.govdeals.com/en/preview-asset/1337/11324

2008 Tesla Roadster
VIN 5YJRE11B681000206
Number 206 with 6975 Miles
Battery replaced in 2020. Normal range 193 miles, extended range 245 miles
Leather Seats, Tire Pressure warning system.
2 owners
Stanford University acquired the vehicle from its original owner in 2020.
Used sparingly during its time at Stanford. Heated indoor garage kept while at Stanford.
Charging cables
110V 20 amp yellow cable to Tesla plug on vehicle (very slow charging)
50 amp 220V cable with L14-50 male plug for wall
Tesla 50 amp 240 V charger to mount to wall
Tan Car cover

The battery bricked on the original owner for a number of years.

He finally got the battery replaced by Tesla and donated it to the dynamic design lab (DDL) at Stanford.

We rarely used it except for some GPS studies during low speed driving. The car seems to be in great condition with low mileage.

Hope to find a great home for this vehicle.
