Every Roadster has a story with it, here’s what the owner shared: Acquired #278 in 2015 through Texas Direct Auto. The previous/original owners were from San Diego and traded the Roadster for a Model S to make room for grandkids. The original owners had carbon fiber sills installed and added a carbon fiber glove box. They also had the stereo upgraded, but unfortunately the shop cut the end of the harness rather than installing a Jetta adapter. I have since upgraded the head unit again, but it was back in 2015/2016 and it does NOT have Android Auto/CarPlay. It has been garage kept since 2015 and climate-controlled since roughly 2018. I have a brake upgrade package that has not yet been installed along with some side view mirror overlays that should provide better visibility. The car also includes the original carpet floor mats and and a cover. Included is a spare set of wheels. I’m still on the fence about selling it, but I do need to downsize some cars. Gruber Motors upgrades and recent maintenance: – Complete GMC PEM rebuild and upgrades – Performance shock replacement – Complete suspension overhaul and replacement – A bleed test confirmed one ESS Pack sheet with Rivet issues, the customer had us retrofit the other 10 sheets – Annual PM, and thermal management component upgrade and replacement The Roadster is being stored for the owner at Gruber Motors, and available for test drives by appointment.
