Here is the owners story: After a multi-year search for the best Very Orange Roadster S, I bought this example from its original owner this past Summer. They purchased it directly from Tesla in 2011 with 11,100 miles. As the car was a Tesla showroom/demonstrator, it has most of the options available. The car has always been garage-kept, has never had any body damage or been involved in an accident, and still has the protective plastic wrap on the carbon fiber door sills. Loaded with Carbon Fiber, including a visible Carbon Fiber Hard Top and side inlet inserts, as well as the infotainment group and special side, Tesla stickers, this car may be one of the nicer and more striking Tesla Very Orange Roadster S available. The car was Tesla dealer serviced until 2019 when Carl Medlock, who was local to the car in Seattle, began servicing the car. Since the purchase of this spectacular Roadster, the total investment in the car of nearly $30,000 as follows:

• Installed Titanium Dave Brake Rotors
• Installed Carbotech Brake Pads
• Installed a Penske/M&S shock set to dramatically improve the overall handling and ride
• Installed a new Kenwood Receiver to allow for wireless connection to Apple/Android phones and modern backup camera
• Installed a new Fosgate 500W Audio Amplifier and tuned for the car’s speaker system
• OVMS Upgrade
• Sanded and painted brake calipers Very Orange
• Had the paint professionally corrected and polished and then ceramic coated
• Gruber Motors PEM rebuild to modern standards

While we hate to part with the car, we don’t have room in our current garage for the car given our changing family situation. The Roadster includes a Clipper Creek TS-70 Wall Charger which will allow dedicated Roadster charging up to 70 amps and the Henry Sharp CAN JR (J1772) and SR (Tesla 2 to Roadster) charging cable converters, each with a padded storage bag. Also includes the original yellow corded, plug-in charger.  All removed parts, including original brake rotors; adjustable, Roaster S shocks; and, original Alpine receiver, are all included with the car. CAC is very respectable at 144.04 as is the 85% range at 169 miles. It has the front fender cutouts/cowls and rear lower spoiler of the 2011 body style – it’s truly a unique car. (The Roadster is currently at Gruber Motors in Phoenix AZ, and will be sold from there.)
