  • Trunk and Hood Release Latch

    $98.95

A pair of Trunk and Hood release latch pair is installed in the front and rear of both 1.5 and 2.x Roadsters.

These latches should be periodically lubricated with teflon grease to prevent binding the trunk release solenoid.  A second pair of these latches is in the front hood, and manually actuated with a T handle pull to the left of the steering column.

They do fail at times and we carry these in stock as well.

This product is a direct replacement for both 1.5 and 2.x Roadsters, and will provide years of service.  Installation requires some tools and mechanical expertise.

  • Trunk Lid Struts

    $38.95

Gas Struts will not last forever.

In a Roadster, a properly functioning release strut should raise the trunk lid all the way when the actuator button is depressed.

We find the majority of Roadsters we service, still have the original struts from 2008-2011, and since this item has a 7 year service life, they all need to be replaced, and often will not even hold up the trunk lid half way.

This product is a direct replacement for both 1.5 and 2.x Roadsters, and will provide years of service.  Installation is relatively simple and DIY.

The Tesla Part Number for these is 2003740.  (SOLD AS A SET OF TWO)

  • Trunk Release Actuator

    $28.95

This Trunk Lid Release Actuator gets constant workout.

It is a 12 Volt DC mechanical solenoid based device that pulls a plunger to release the latches that free up the Trunk Lid, which then opens with gas struts, lifting the trunk.

In a Roadster, a properly functioning release system raises the trunk lid when the actuator button is depressed.  With age and use, this device becomes worn, eventually works intermittently, or not at all.

This product is a direct replacement for both 1.5 and 2.x Roadsters, and will provide years of service.  Installation requires some tools and mechanical expertise.

The Tesla Part Number for this assembly is 2002148.

  • Power Window Assembly

    As Low As: $333.48

The Tesla Model S window regulators are one of the more frequent failure points.  This part replaces the most failure prone component in this assembly, replacing a plastic part with a far more durable Billet Aluminum slotted bushing.

The slotted feature allows for field retrofit without removing and re-crimping the steel cable in the assembly.

Typical failure symptoms indicating a broken spring loaded bushing are:

    • Sluggish window operation
    • Widow is stuck in open, closed, or in between
    • Window closes but opens again on its own

The old broken plastic bushing will need to be removed.  We find a pair of diagonal cutters are ideal for this procedure.  Just nibble around the plastic remnants, and slide in the Billet Aluminum replacement.

  • Wall Charger Repair

    $242

The Tesla Level 2 Wall Chargers occasionally fail.  Fortunately, they are repairable.

This flat rate repair includes all parts required, and a through cleaning of both the main unit, and Trident connector.

The Trident connector on the end of the charge cable that goes into the vehicle charge port, would benefit from periodic inspection and cleaning.

Remove any accumulated debris, dust, or dirt, by using low pressure compressed air periodically, especially with outdoor mounted wall chargers.
